Cycling New Zealand Living Allowance Scholarship
Cycling New Zealand's High Performance Programme, and all support facilities like the high performance gym, coaching, support and medical teams, are based at the Avantidrome in Cambridge. R
iders who are selected for the High Performance Programme, and who move to Cambridge as part of their high performance commitments, qualify to be considered for one of 14 High Performance Scholarships available to elite and U19 riders each year. Massey University Academy of Sport Scholarship
This scholarship supports new student athletes enrolling at Massey University with a previous record of high achievement in sport and who show potential in their chosen sport.
The scholarship includes:
$3,000 to $5,000 for one year (pro-rated for part-time students)
Entry into Massey University’s Academy of Sport programme
Applications close 30 August each year, and must be completed in the year prior to commencing study.
University of Waikato - Sir Edmund Hillary Scholarship
The Sir Edmund Hillary Scholarship Programme recognises all-round talent in academia, sport or creative and performing art, and leadership. Recipients receive a full domestic fees Scholarship for the duration of their studies, plus academic support, access to leading coaches and skill development assistance, free UniRec (on campus fitness centre) membership and physical conditioning plus a leadership and personal development plan.
Adastra Foundation 2015/2016 Scholarships
Scholarship awards are available to athletes and musicians. Candidates should be between the ages of 16-23 years old, must be New Zealand citizens and must reside in the Waikato/BOP region. Candidates must be representing a Waikato/BOP club (if relevant).
For applicants that have received scholarships in past years, consideration is given to engagement in the mentoring programme.
